A conversation could change a life.
This RUOK Day we are shining a light on the power of movement, connection and community in finding your positive state of mind.
Movement: Take a walk or attend an Upstate class. Physical activity releases endorphins, the ‘feel-good’ hormones, which can boost your mood and reduce stress. A simple yet effective way to take care of your mental health.
Connection: Reach out to a friend, colleague or fellow Upstater. A simple “Are you okay?” can make a world of difference. Connecting with others reminds us that we’re not alone in our struggles and that there’s always someone willing to listen and support.
Community: Together, we are stronger. Communities provide a sense of belonging through a healthy support system. Our Upstate community is one where we strive for each member to feel strong and empowered.
We hope you find your positive state of mind, one sweaty workout at a time.
